Lions lose to Rams

The Central-Hayneville Lions (0-4) faced a devastating 54-6 loss at home against the Marion Rams (1-3) on Friday night.
Sophomore Darious Bennet scored against the Rams on a kickoff return putting the Lions on the board for their only score.
“We got a lot of field position and didn’t give up a lot of plays on the kickoff returns,” said Coach Keith Scissum.
Running back and linebacker Brandon Burke left the game with a knee injury late in the third quarter and it is not known how long Burke will be out. TJ Shuford took over in place of Burke for the remainder of the game.
The Lions will play at Isabella after taking one week off, according to Scissum.
Scissum said the Lions will need to focus on fundamentals on their week off.
