The Central High School Lions fell to 0-8 on the season with a 50-6 loss on the road at New Brockton.

“We didn’t have any highlights,” Central head football coach James Bibb said. “We’re just not executing on either side of the ball.”

With homecoming this coming Friday against Calhoun, Bibb said he expects a shootout.

“Most of the kids know each other, most of them are friends,” he said of this rivalry. “We’re going to bring our ‘A’ game and Calhoun will do the same.”
