According to a release from Pioneer Electric, only 23 customers are still without power after last night’s storms.

At the height of the outage, 519 Pioneer customers were without power, and overall, Pioneer reported 1,579 customers out of power across nine counties.

A strong storm moved across Lowndes County yesterday evening with a lengthy tornado warning and reports of downed trees and some structural damage.
