In an effort to be more accessible to the people of Lowndes County, The Lowndes Signal will now be staffed during business hours at its Fort Deposit location.
Housed in Cross Printing, located at 118 Ellis Street, locals now have a place to drop off announcements, photographs, news tips and more.
“We are extremely excited to have a daily presence in Lowndes County. Our reporter Fred Guarino will be available during business hours at the Ellis Street location and out and about in the community serving our readers,” said Signal editor Kendra Bolling. “We want to continue serving the residents of Lowndes County with an informative and interesting community newspaper. We invite you to stop by and visit or call us with news tips, questions or simply to say ‘hello.’”
The Signal may be reached at 334-404-6397.
