Till elected president of public relations council

The Public Relations Council of Alabama (PRCA) recently announced the slate for its 2016 state board of directors including Josh Till, a native of Lowndes County as president.
Serving as president is Joshua Till, APR, who is employed at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Comprehensive Cancer Center, where he has received numerous awards for his work with the center’s publications and communications programs.
A native of the Braggs Community, he is a magna cum laude graduate of Auburn University where he received his bachelor’s degree in public relations in 2002.
“I am extremely excited to serve as PRCA’s president for 2016,” Till said. “It’s an honor for me to serve alongside and to represent the most brilliant and talented public relations professionals in Alabama, and I am looking forward to the year ahead.”
The Public Relations Council of Alabama is the state’s oldest and largest organization of public relations practitioners. The organization exists to further the professional and networking interests of today’s public relations and communication professional in private, public and nonprofit businesses and organizations. There are six PRCA chapters in Alabama: Birmingham, East Alabama (Auburn), Mobile, Montgomery, North Alabama (Huntsville) and West Alabama (Tuscaloosa).
