We can make a difference cancer fund-raiser set

Laura Gresham is hosting a “We Can Make A Difference” live blues show fund-raiser to benefit the American Cancer Society regarding all types of cancer on Saturday, Feb. 11 at the Jackson-Steele Community Center in White Hall.
The event featuring Ora Reaves & the Reaves Sounds of Soul Band and more will go from 6-10 p.m. “Taking it back old school 70s.” Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.
Zandra Colston, who served as event lead for the American Cancer Society 2016 Lowndes County Relay for Life ask everyone to “Please come out and help us make a difference.” She also said donations will be accepted.
Colston asks everyone to “Please come and enjoy the live music, food and dancing.”
She said Laura Gresham is a cancer survivor and leads one of the teams at the annual American Cancer Society Lowndes County Relay for Life.
Colston said Gresham is with the Pink Flamingos, and this function will help Gresham’s team raise funds for the relay.
