One arrested, person of interest sought in Marathon Gas Station armed robbery

One person has been charged with robbery in the first degree, and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA)/Alabama Bureau of Investigation (ABI) is seeking a person of interest for questioning regarding an armed robbery with a shooting at the Marathon Gas Station on U.S. 80 in Lowndes County that occurred on Monday, June 12.
Jeremy A. Marvin, an investigator with the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that ALEA/ABI agents arrested Dorther Alexander Rogers, 40, of Montgomery on June 16th for robbery in the first degree in connection with the robbery at the Marathon Gas Station. He also confirmed that she was a former employee of the gas station.
According to information released by ALEA/ABI The two law enforcement agencies are seeking a female person of interest who is being sought for questioning in connection with the armed robbery. They also released a photo of the person of interest that accompanies this article.
Jesse Thornton of ALEA also confirmed that two black males are also being sought in connection with the robbery.
