Hayneville Plaza comes down

- In connection with the ACE Hardware Project, Quality Dirt Works & Construction of Millbrook, Clay Beck, owner; Joey Dismukes, supervisor, and David Martin worked to take down the Hayneville Plaza building, Thursday, Sept. 14. Joe Bell Jr. previously informed the Lowndes County Commission that approval to demolish the building was received from the state. He told the Signal, “Ace Hardware has been known as the place with the helpful hardware folks in thousands of neighborhoods for over 90 years. We are excited that Ace is expanding its footprint to serve our community. Construction is expected to start as early as November.”
