Lowndes County Public Schools have announced that schools will close at 12 noon Tuesday and the Central Office will be closed at 1 p.m. A decision on Wednesday will be made Tuesday.
Lowndes Academy Headmaster Darrell Self said that plans are for Lowndes Academy to be open all day Tuesday.
