The road for a 2A state championship in basketball came to an end for the Calhoun boys, Friday, falling to Aliceville in a regional contest 50-36 at the Dunn-Oliver Acadome in Montgomery. The Tigers were led by Jerdarrian Davison with 14 points and Jamichael Boone with 10 points.
The Central girls hopes for a 2A state championship ended at the Dunn-Oliver Acadome in Montgomery, Friday, when the Lady Lions fell to R. C. Hatch 62-50 in a regional contest. Derrica McCall led the Lady Lions with 20 points.
