Lowndes SO turns body over for forensic processing

The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office issued a statement today that a body has been turned over for forensic testing.
The Sheriff’s Office reports it received a call from a concerned citizen Wednesday,Feb. 6, stating, “He happened upon an unresponsive male subject in a tree stand.” According to the Sheriff’s Office, “The subject was pronounced dead at the scene. The body was turned over to forensic science for processing.” And, “No further information is available, pending an ongoing investigation.”
