The Central Lady Lions defeated Choctaw County 92-58 at home in the Class 2A girls basketball sub-regional, Monday, Feb . 11.

The Lady Lions will play Washington County, Friday, Feb. 15 in the regionals of the state 2A varsity girls basketball tournament at the Dunn-Oliver Acadome in Montgomery.

For Central, Cordasia Harris scored 39 points, Derrica McCall scored 20 and Melody Walker scored 17 points.
