Rebels win big this week

The Lowndes Academy varsity boys basketball team remain undefeated after two impressive wins this week.
On Monday, the varsity boys went on the road and took on Fort Dale Academy.
Lowndes Academy ended the game with a 58-44 victory.
Colby Briggs had a double-double and led with 25 points, 12 rebounds, one steal, and five blocks. Briggs made 10 of his 13 attempted two-point shots.
Jackson Self was the second-highest scorer for the Rebels with 14 points, three rebounds, two assists, three steals, and one block. Self also made four of his eight attempted two-point shots.
Luke Lovell scored eight points with two rebounds, one assist, and three steals. Lovell made two of his three two-point shots.
Parker Lee Harris scored four points and had five rebounds, five assists, two steals, and one block. Harris made two of his eight attempted two-point shots.
Andrew Myers scored three points following a three-point shot.
Trey Thomas and Ashton Yelder scored two points with seven rebounds, two steals, one block, and two two-point shot attempts made between them.
The varsity boys then returned home to face Edgewood Academy on Tuesday.
The varsity boys ended that game with a final score of 41-39.

Parker Lee Harris scored 13 points with four rebounds and one steal. Harris made two of his four attempted two-point shots.
Ashton Yelder scored 10 points with eight rebounds, one assist and two blocks. Yelder made eight of his 11 two-point shots.
Luke Lovell scored two points with two rebounds. His made one of his three two-point shots.
The varsity boys are now 3-0 for the season and have a three win streak.
