Central High School in Hayneville hosted hometown rivals, The Calhoun School Tigers, on March 14, clinching the win 12-2. Player of the game, JaMaxin Lewis, was voted this week’s Lowndes County Athlete of the Week and had a three-run homerun with a total of six RBIs to help secure the Lions’ win. The two teams will play again at Central March 28 at 4:30 p.m.
