Autism Awareness
Central Elementary School and the Special Education Department presents Autism Awareness Week April 22-26. A parade will take place Friday, April 26 at 1:30 p.m. and community members are invited to wear green on Monday, red on Tuesday, purple on Wednesday, yellow on Thursday and blue Friday for the observance.
HIM Graduation
Hope Inspired Ministries will hold graduation ceremonies for its Lowndes County site Thursday, April 25 at 6 p.m. at Hayneville Baptist Church.
Egg Workshop
Alabama Extension will host All About Eggs, a workshop for those interested in backyard egg production and maintaining a small flock April 25 in the County Commission Meeting Room in Hayneville from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Call (334) 548-2315 to register for this free event.

Book Signing
White Hall resident Lucy Reeves Vaughner will hold a book signing for her debut book, “Matters of the Heart” at the Hayneville Library April 26 at 1 p.m. The event is open to the public.
Equipment Auction
Lowndes County Public Schools will hold its annual auction April 29 from 9-11 a.m. at the LCPS Bus School in Hayneville. Items include an old cotton gin, furniture, computers, vehicles and more. For more information, call Dr. Kenneth Fair at (334) 548-2131 Ext. 1700.
Men Day

LCUWP Applications
The Lowndes County Unincorporated Wastewater Project is accepting applications for septic system installation or repair at its office located at 507 W. Tuskeena Street in Hayneville. Call (334) 548-2006 or stop by Monday, Wednesday, or Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for an application.
Head Start

Cancer Screening

Get Lit Bus
The Lowndes County Public Schools’ Get Lit Bus will stop in Hayneville on May 4 starting at 9 a.m. Come by and get on and enjoy learning. Contact the schools’ central office for more information.
Celebrating Cosby
Friends and family of Gwendolyn B. Cosby request your presence to celebrate her works in the community. The Lowndes County Disabled Americans Veterans, Chapter 100 joins community partners to sponsor a Health and Wellness Expo May 18 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Fort Deposit Guard Armory.
