4-H students compete at Regional Roundup

The 2024 4-H Regional Congress took place May 11 at the Shelby County Extension Office. A total of 73 students attended and competed in competitions in areas with 4-H’ers from nine counties: Lowndes, Elmore, Jefferson, Montgomery, Bibb, St. Clair , Autauga, Shelby and Chilton.
During the 4-H Regional Congress 4-H’ers who have placed first or second within a competitive category on the county level are afforded the opportunity to compete at the regional level. Categories include Graphic Design, Freestyle Demonstration and Showcase, What Wood U Build, eXtreme Birdhouse , Blocks Rock1, $15 Challenge , The World I See and 4-H Bake off just to name a few.
