Rangers with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers visited Jackson-Steele Head Start, Central Head Start and Fort Deposit Head Start on Thursday, May 9. Ranger George Hunter and Ranger Joseph Ponder provided Water Safety training to the students and gave tips to help the learners understand water safety while having fun in and around water. Gift bags were also provided to the students.
The Lowndes County Board of Education Head Start would like to thank Rangers Hunter and Ponder for providing this most important, engaging, and interactive training.
