Troy announces spring honor students

Troy University announced the naming of students from Crenshaw, Butler and Lowndes counties to its spring semester/term 4 chancellor’s and provost’s lists on May 28.
Clarence Hudson of Lowndesboro was also named to the chancellor’s list along with Hope Hull natives Sean Marts and Analise Mokler. The Lowndes County scholars made the list for achieving a grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 while registered for at least 12 semester hours.
Zykira Rudolph of Hayneville received the honor of being named to the school’s provost’s. Students named on this list achieved at least a 3.65 GPA for at least 12 semester hours of coursework.
Chancelor Turner, MacKenzie Daniel, Christopher Hale, Elijah Brooks, Sophie Kelly and Tanner Simmons, all from Luverne as well as Thomas Compton, Lucas Kilcrease and Joshua Ryals of Brantley were honored among students named to the chancellor’s list.
Luverne scholars named to the provost’s list were Roma Smith, Austin Archie, Sommer Cornelius and MacKenzie Helms. Maliyah Roberts of Brantley also earned placement on the list.
Greenville scholars named to the chancellor’s list include Marquita Allen, Lancelot Smith, Shelby Lawrence, Noah Lovvorn and Avery Royal. Earning placement on the provost’s list were Danaysia Smith, Josef Seale, Catherine Pope, Rebecca Coleman and Annsley Wallace, all of Greenville.
The spring semester students attend classes at the university’s Troy campus. Term 4 students study in Dothan, Phenix City or Montgomery as well as locations around the world and online.
The students were among 22,500 others attending Troy University.
