Brazil earns blue ribbon at state 4-H competition

A’lacia Brazil is a rising junior at Central High School in Hayneville. She has competed and won 1st place at the local, regional, and state level with 4-H. Brazil competed recently in the “What Wood U Build” contest where she designed and built a wooden shoe organizer that holds 12 pairs of shoes. On June 21, Alabama 4-H held their annual state competitive events day at the Alabama 4-H Center in Columbiana.
During this event students from 67 counties attend and compete in their specific categories. Brazil emerged as the winner for her woodworking project.
