* Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church No. 1 celebrates its annual Homecoming and Family and Friends Day Aug. 4 at 1 p.m. Guest speaker is Pastor Stephen J. Miller from Kendrick Memorial Church in Chicago, Illinois. Revival service Monday – Wednesday begin at 7 p.m. each evening.

* Unity Baptist Church will hold revival Aug. 5-7 at 7 p.m. each evening. Homecoming will be held Aug. 11 at 1.p.m with guest speaker Pastor Joe Holcomb from Mt. Moriah Baptist Church No. 1 in Gordonsville.

* Imago Dei Church at the 4FIVE will hold church services at a new time starting aug. 4. Sunday School will start at 9:45 a.m. with worship following at 11 a.m.

* The Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church at 320 Golson Road in Fort Deposit will install pastor Jeff D. Abner, Jr.and Sister Linda M. Abner on Aug. 18 at 2 p.m. Guest speaker Bishop James Bolton and Dr. Terrance Scott Sr. will speak. Special music will be presented.

* Calvary Church is offering The Bible in a Year classes, on the second and fourth Sunday each month from 5 – 7 p.m. The cost is $100 per term for three terms or $275 for the full course. To register, visit https://form.jotform.com/222646972184161.
