Community Orientation

The Lowndes County Unincorporated Wastewater Program will hold a community orientation to discuss septic systems and sewage disposal on Sept. 18 from 5-7 p.m. at the White Hall Town Hall, 989 White Hall Road in Lowndesboro. Call (334) 548-2006.

Pre-K Program

First Years Child Development Center, First Class Pre-K offers a free 4-year-old program from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. for working parents and 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for non-working parents. Classes start in August. Space is limited. Call Katina Surles at (334) 281-8627 for more information.

LCUWP Applications

The Lowndes County Unincorporated Wastewater Project is accepting applications for septic system installation or repair at its office located at 507 W. Tuskeena Street in Hayneville. Call (334) 548-2006 or stop by Monday, Wednesday, or Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for an application.

Head Start
