Veterans Program

Veterans Day
The Beulah Primitive Baptist Church will host al Veterans Day celebration, Nov. 11, at 8 a.m. in the Wellness Center at 3304 Highway 37 South in Hope Hull. Breakfast begins at 8:30 a.m. Veterans, their families and friends are invited. For information, call (281) 416-6156.
Mom Muffins
Lowndes Middle Schools will host Muffins with Moms Thursday, Nov. 14 at 9 a.m. in the school’s cafeteria. All students are encouraged to invite the special ladies and moms in their lives. For more information, contact Ms. Simmons at (334) 227-4206.
Mom Classes

Pre-K Program
First Years Child Development Center, First Class Pre-K offers a free 4-year-old program from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. for working parents and 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for non-working parents. Classes start in August. Space is limited. Call Katina Surles at (334) 281-8627 for more information.
LCUWP Applications
The Lowndes County Unincorporated Wastewater Project is accepting applications for septic system installation or repair at its office located at 507 W. Tuskeena Street in Hayneville. Call (334) 548-2006 or stop by Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for an application.
Head Start
The Lowndes County BOE has opened Head Start registration for children ages 3 and 4 for the 2024-2025 program year. Current immunization records, proof of income, and proof of age are required to register. Call (334) 548-2145 or visit www.lowndesboeheadstart.org for information.
