Tyler Robertson has been voted Lowndes County Athlete of the Week for Week 14. He is a senior at The Calhoun School. He has lettered in football, basketball and track for the Tigers while boasting a 3.89 GPA. Robertson is currently averaging 31.14 points and 12.4 rebounds per game this basketball season.

Robertson was an Athlete of the Week winner last year and earned the honor again this week by capturing 74%, 131 out of 177 votes cast in the contest.

Ashton Yelder from Lowndes Academy and Christian Lawrence from Central were also nominated for their athleticism and setting the standard for excellence on and off the field. Congratulations to Yelder and Lawrence for being nominated this week. 

Athlete of the Week is made possible by the joint efforts of The Lowndes Signal and Lowndes County Public Schools Athletic Director Ervin Starr and sponsors, the Black Belt Unincorporated Wastewater Program and the Hayneville QV, as well as the cooperation of the coaches and administration of Central High School, Lowndes Academy, and The Calhoun School.
