The Lowndes County Children’s Policy Council met Dec. 4 for its annual Christmas meeting. The council collected gifts for Lowndes County foster children and enjoyed some holiday refreshments. During the meeting, the council awarded the November Character in Action award to Romilia Myles of Hayneville Middle School.
