It was a proper cat fight when Calhoun went to do battle with the Wilcox Central Jaguars on Thursday night, falling to Wilcox 66-54. The contest marked the Tigers’ lowest point outcome this season.
Calhoun has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games, putting a noticeable dent in their 2-6 season record. As for Wilcox-Central, the win, the Jaguars’ 5th a row, raised their record to 10-and-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of the home crowd in upcoming games. Calhoun will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat over the holiday break and will take on Luverne Jan 3 at 5 p.m.
