Lowndes County students named to Troy honors lists

Troy University released its honors lists for the Fall semester and Term 2 of the 2024-25 academic year Friday. Among those named to the university’s Provost’s and Chancellor’s list were two Lowndes County natives.
Chancellor’s List scholars are full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who earn a grade point average (GPA) of 4.0. From Lowndes County, Sean Marts of Hope Hull was named to the list.
The university recognizes full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who have a grade point average of at least 3.65 on its Provost’s List. Riley Johnson of Hope Hull was recognized among students named to the list.
The Fall Semester includes students at the Troy campus. Term 2 includes students at TROY’s campuses in Dothan, Phenix City and Montgomery, Ala., along with locations outside of Alabama and online.
