Lowndes Academy senior Ashton Yelder has been named as the Alabama Independent School Association (AISA) Lineman of the Year. The association announced Yelder’s accomplishments Tuesday via social media. Yelder, a multi-sport student athlete who excels at football and baseball, achieved the honor by earning 56 tackles, including 17 tackles for loss and four sacks.
