The Alabama Association of School Boards announces winners of the eighth annual President’s Award, including the Lowndes County Board of Education, which recognizes school boards that have 60 percent or more of their members attend at least three School Board Member Academy conferences in a year.
The awards will be given this year to 63 school boards across the state during AASB district meetings Aug. 5-29 in nine geographical regions.
