Due to the current hazardous road conditions and road closures, delivery of The Lowndes Signal will be postponed.
A winter storm that has dumped ice and snow across the state forced the Signal to delay Thursday delivery.
“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our readers and advertising partners, but the safety of our staff is most important and is our top priority,” said Tracy Salter, president and publisher of Greenville Newspapers LLC.
Subscribers should receive the newspaper in the mail on Friday and copies of the newspaper will be available in the news racks by late Thursday evening, according to Salter.
