The Lowndes Academy Lady Rebels defeated East Memorial Christian Academy on the road, Monday, Jan. 25 by a score of 50 to 9.
Abby Ray led the Lady Rebels with 10 points while Emily Dunning scored 8 points and McKayla Pierce scored six points among 11 Lady Rebels who got into the scoring act.
The Lowndes Academy varsity boys play Sumter in the Class A, Region 2 Tournament at Wallace State Community College in Selma this Thursday at 2:30 p.m.
The Lady Rebels will play the winner of the Sumter/Jackson game in the tournament in Selma on Friday at 4 p.m.
