Two Hope Hull area men arrested in connection with Lowndes area four-wheeler thefts

Two Hope Hull area men have been arrested by the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office in connection with thefts of four-wheelers in the Lowndes County area.
Investigator Lenny M. Lee of the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday that Thursday, April 14, 28-year-old Donell Lee Fleeton and 33-year-old Derrick Lee Fleeton, both of the Hope Hull area of Lowndes County, were arrested and charged with theft of property in the first degree in connection with a series of four-wheeler thefts in the Lowndes County area.
Lee said, “These two men are suspected of stealing four-wheelers from local farmers.” He said there have been several thefts of four-wheelers and ATV’s in Lowndes county over the past few months.
“With the help of local citizens and video surveillance cameras these two men were apprehended,” Lee said. And he said, “More charges are pending following further investigation.”
Lee said Derrick Lee Fleeton bonded out but Donell Lee Fleeton is being held at the John Hulett Detention Facility on the charges on bonds of $5,000 each.
