Double homicide in Mosses, Friday, under investigation

The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that it is conducting a homicide investigation after two men were found shot to death in a vehicle near Mosses, Friday night.
Chief Deputy Chris West of the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office identified the men as Frank James Hill, 26 years of age, and Antoni Markee Means, 36 years of age.
West said, “On 2/03/17 (Friday, Feb. 3,) the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office received a call of shots fired in the area of Mosses Public Housing at 9:28 p.m. Patrol deputies were dispatched and arrived on the scene at 9:38 p.m. where they observed a subject slumped over the steering wheel of a car parked on Williams Drive.”
“After further investigation it was determined that the occupants of the vehicle were Frank James Hill, 26 years of age, and Antoni Markee Means, 36 years of age,” He said. “Both men had been shot while inside the vehicle. They were pronounced dead at the scene.”
West Said, “The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office along with the 2nd Judicial District Attorney’s Office will be releasing periodic press releases as this investigation continues.”
