The public is invited to join the National Park Service and Central Alabama Storytelling Guild for the Annual Selma to Montgomery National Historic Trail Storytelling Festival in White Hall and Selma.

According to the National Park Service, youth and adults are invited to attend the festival Wednesday, March 22 on the third floor of the Selma Interpretive Center at 2 Broad Street, Selma and on Thursday, March 23  at the Lowndes Interpretive Center located at 7002 U.S. Highway 80 W., White Hall.

The festival will honor the trailblazing women in labor and business with a primary focus on the women who were a part of the Voting Rights Movement or Civil Rights Movement.

The festival will be presented twice on each day at 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. and 12 noon. – 2 p.m.

Seating will be limited and visitors are advised to arrive 30 minutes in advance. Groups of five or more are encouraged to make a reservation at least one week in advance with Courtney Sharpe at the Selma and Lowndes Interpretive Centers or courtney_sharpe@contractor.nps.gov.
