The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department is seeking five suspects for two counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling and attempted murder each.
The suspects are Kelsey Tremayne McDonald, Willie Carl Thigpen, Cedric Devon Searight, John Arthur Searight Jr. and Recardo Latrell Johnson.
According to Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office investigator Jeremy Marvin, the men are wanted for shooting into the residence of Shawn Hale of Fort Deposit on Saturday, April 15.
Marvin said the men are all in their mid 20s. He also said the men are residents of Lowndes County except for McDonald, who is from Montgomery.
Lowndes County Chief Deputy Chris West is leading the investigation, said Marvin.
Marvin said, “If anyone has any information they can call the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office at 334-548-2151 or 334-548-2597 and ask for Chief Deputy Chris West.”
