Second arrest made in Marathon shooting/robbery

A second arrest has been made in connection with the Lowndes County Marathon Gas Station shooting/robbery of June 12, and another person is still wanted for questioning.
Special Agents with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA’s) State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), announced Tuesday that with assistance from the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office, “Katrina Latrese Owens, 40, of Montgomery was charged with first-degree Robbery and booked at the Lowndes County jail with a $500,000 bond. “
Thornton also said, “Agents anticipate additional arrests.”
Previously, Jeremy A. Marvin, an investigator with the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office, confirmed that ALEA/SBI agents arrested Dorther Alexander Rogers, 40, of Montgomery on June 16th for robbery in the first degree in connection with the robbery at the Marathon Gas Station located on U.S. 80.
Thornton said of the latest arrest, “Agents would like to thank the public for their assistance.”
However, Thornton said, another person, pictured with this article, is still wanted for questioning.
