A single-vehicle crash at 7:15 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, claimed the life of a Ramer man in an accident in which a Letohatchee man was listed injured as the driver, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).
Corporal Jess Thornton of ALEA said, “Dustin Lane Paulk, 23, was killed when the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado in which he was a passenger left the roadway and struck a tree.”
He said, “Paulk, who was not using a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.”
Thornton said, “The driver, Kyle Andrew Harris, 21, of Letohatchee was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.”
Thornton said the crash occurred on Hobbie Road approximately one mile north of Ramer.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
