The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for…
Autauga County, Southern Perry County, Lowndes County and
Dallas Count until 1:45 p.m. for Wednesday, May 30.
* At 7:49 a.m. Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms moving
southward into areas that experienced flooding rains overnight
last night. Flash Flooding will quickly begin as these storms move
back into Southern Perry, Dallas, Lowndes, and Autauga Counties.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Prattville, Selma, Millbrook, Valley Grande, Uniontown, Mosses, Hayneville, Selmont, West Selmont, Deatsville, Autaugaville, White Hall, Gordonville, Orrville, Billingsley, Lowndesboro, Benton, Bogue Chitto, Tyler, Autauga County Airport and Dannelly Reservoir.
Instructions:Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
