Lee Brooks of Hayneville, AL, was named to the president’s list for the fall 2023 semester at Lawson State Community College.

Lee was one of over 145 students named to the list.

President’s list scholars attained a grade point average of 4.0 consisting of a minimum course load of not fewer than 12 semester hours of college-level courses or above.

With two campuses located in Bessemer and Birmingham, Lawson State Community College provides seamless administrative processes and educational support services for students, members of the community, and other constituents. Lawson State is composed of two main divisions–an academic division and a career/technical division and prepares students for gainful employment and career advancement through comprehensive offerings including college transfer, workforce development, adult education, and dual enrollment programs.
