A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 1:50 p.m. Thursday, April 25, has claimed the life of a Christina, Tennessee, woman. Rebecca S. Ready, 84, was fatally injured when the 2003 Toyota Camry she was driving left the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned. Ready was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash occurred on Interstate 65 near the 153 mile marker, approximately two miles north of Letohatchee, in Lowndes County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
