Harry Neil Mitchell, 82, a resident of Fort Deposit passed away on April 22 surrounded by his family.

Funeral Service was held on Saturday, April 27 beginning at 10 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Herbert Brown officiating, with Johnson Funeral Home directing. A burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Red Level. The family received friends for visitation, Friday, April 26 at Johnson Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Mr. Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Ruth Mitchell; parents, William and Fannie Lou Mitchell; brothers, Billy Joe Mitchell and Jimmy Mitchell.

Mr. Harry is survived by his wife, Dale Mitchell; children, Dody Nettles (J.D.), Harry Neil Mitchell, Jr. and Amy Russell (Paul); grandchildren, Laramie Copeland (Chris), Landon Matthews (Greyson), Tyler Nettles, Leif Nettles, Danielle Hollyfield (Michael), Tobey Mitchell (Daryll), Mitchell Patterson and Turner Patterson; step-son, Jeffery Gardner (Addie); brother-in-law; Michael Tindal (Amanda); great grandchildren, Mary Turner Copeland, Harrison Matthews, Aiden Mitchell, Gantt Mitchell, Tyler Hollyfield, Brayden Hollyfield and Cameron Hollyfield; sister, Memory Barrow; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many, many, many close friends.
