A Lowndes County native graduated recently from Harding University.

Fort Deposit native William Foster earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from Harding. He received the degree during the university’s commencement ceremony held May 4.

Foster was among 700 students who received diplomas and were recognized for earning degrees from the university’s College of Allied Health, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Bible and Ministry, Paul R. Carter College of Business Administration, Cannon-Clary College of Education, Carr College of Nursing, College of Pharmacy and Honors College.

Harding is located in Searcy, Arkansas and is a private Christian, liberal arts university accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. With more than a century of experience in educating students, the college boasts nearly 5,000 students from 47 states and 50 nations across the globe.
