* District IV Christian Church (DOC) in Alabama Northwest Florida will host an award presentation for the Mitchell James Scholarship June 30 at 2 p.m. at New Salem Christian Church located at 133 West Tuskeena Street in Hayneville. A 5th Sunday fellowship meeting will follow at 3 p.m.

* Imago Dei Church at the 45 invites the community to Vacation Bible School (VBS) July 8 – 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church located at 141 Maple Street in White Hall. Crafts, games, food and more plus fund and outdoor activities are planned.

* Hayneville Baptist Church will host vacation Bible school, Breaker Rock Beach, July 21 – 26 from 5:45 – 8:30 p.m. nightly.
