Movie Matinee

Lowndes County Public Schools ll present a Back-to-School Rally: Movie Matinee Edition on Saturday, July 20 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in The Calhoun School Gymnasium. The event includes free food, school supplies and giveaways. Bring a blanket or chairs and enjoy the show.

Pre-K Program

First Years Child Development Center, First Class Pre-K offers a free 4-year-old program from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. for working parents and 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for non-working parents. Classes start in August. Space is limited. Call Katina Surles at (334) 281-8627 for more information.

LCUWP Applications

The Lowndes County Unincorporated Wastewater Project is accepting applications for septic system installation or repair at its office located at 507 W. Tuskeena Street in Hayneville. Call (334) 548-2006 or stop by Monday, Wednesday, or Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for an application.

Head Start
