Highway reopens after crash blocks I-65 southbound

The left southbound lane of Interstate Highway 65 has reopened after a Thursday afternoon crash.
A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 2:17 p.m. on July 25 has caused a lane closure. The left southbound lane of Interstate 65 near the 149 mile marker in Lowndes County was blocked for about four hours. Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division were on scene while crews worked to clear the road.
