Schools across Lowndes County welcomed students back to the classroom this week. Teacher appreciation gifts, open house events, new signs and Institute Day were just a few of the ways teachers, faculty, support staff and volunteers pulled out all the stops to make the start of the 2024-2025 school year successful. From Head Start to high school, students experienced a warm welcome as they returned to the classroom.
