The Lowndes Academy Pee Wee Rebels came out strong in their season opener against Hooper Academy Tuesday evening. Kyle “Brother” Harrell, No. 12 put the Rebels on the board first with a 60-yard run on the first play from scrimmage giving Lowndes Academy the momentum they would need to carry them through the rest of the game. 

By halftime the Rebels had pushed ahead to a score 24-0 continuing their dominance through the third quarter. The Colts would score a late touchdown and convert on the point after touchdown to make the final score 30-8 giving the Rebels the victory. 

The Pee Wee Rebels will travel to face Macon East on Sept. 3.
