On the heels of a triple win Friday night, voting has opened for Lowndes County Athlete of the Week.
Nominated for recognition this week are Jabraylen Thomas from Central High School, Lowndes Academy’s Jeremy Hardy and Layla Olyphant, student-athlete at The Calhoun School.
The Lowndes Signal and Lowndes County Athletics are partnering to elevate our young men and women in the Athlete of the Week contest. Thanks to the help of Calhoun Lighthouse, Lowndes Academy and Central High School, Hayneville and our sponsors Blackbelt Unincorporated Wastewater Project and Hayneville QV, we have an opportunity to encourage student-athletes and reward their dedication.
