Flood warning issued for Lowndes County

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a flood warning for Lowndes County until noon.
Shortly before 9 a.m., the NWS indicated flooding across Lowndes County.
Several roads have been flooded in the White Hall community, Collirene, Calhoun and near Fort Deposit.
Some of these roadways are impassable.
Radar estimates of two to four inches of rain have already fallen in the past several hours, but this heavy rain has pushed east of the area.
Some locations that will experience flooding include Fort Deposit, Hayneville, Mosses, Beechwood, Lowndesboro, Macedonia and White Hall.
