Calhoun falls to Greenville
The Calhoun varsity boys basketball team recently lost on the road to Greenville 67-43.
Greenville took a massive 22-9 lead in the first quarter of the game. By halftime they managed to hold onto, and extend, that lead 21-36.
Unfortunately, they continued to hold onto their lead throughout the third and fourth quarters and Calhoun was unable to catch up.
Tyler Robertson led the team with 14 points. He made three of his five free-throw shot attempts.
Javion Means scored ten points.
Tederius Scott and Timothy Jones scored six points.
Xzavious Edwards scored five points.
JaCarrion Peagler and Dylan Cook scored one point.
Earlier that week, Tuesday, December 14, Calhoun suffered another loss at the hands of Autaugaville with a final score of 66-39
Robertson held the lead throughout that game with 17 points. He made one of his three free-throw shot attempts.
Means scored seven points and made one of his eight free-throw shot attempts.
Scott and Adrian Moorer scored six points while Edwards scored three.
Calhoun is currently sitting with a 2-10 record for the season.
